I went and got a beta fish and the staff didn't know too much about them. They were very sweet and helpful except that they were a bit clueless to my fish questions. The store is nice and clean and has a large selection of fish and other products
I took my dog for grooming. It took 3 hours, 10 minutes. I asked specifically of the groomer (Austin) not to trim under her tail. Her trimmed under her tail, nonetheless. As I walked from the building to the car I scratched her chin. She still had burrs in her mustache from the morning walk. It was, needless to say, a frustrating experience. I don't recommend.
Unimpressed. Smelt unpleasant. Staff isn't very knowledgeable. Animals are not being properly cared for. This place is awful.
Very friendly and caring groomer. I felt comfortable leaving my dog with her and he can be a bit difficult. Rest of staff friendly and initiated conversation with me. Was slow and had to find an employee to check me out when I was ready. This is reason for not rating 5 stars.
Almost every tank had 2+ dead fish, some had dozens. Employee laughed it off with another customer that they had just gotten stuck in the filter (if so, remove the dead ones and learn to baffle a filter, it's stupidly easy). In one tank the dead ones were so decomposed they had to have been in there for days- there were skeletons showing and their faces were gone. Employee also gave bad info about fish care (no, betas can healthily live in an unheated and unfiltered 2 gallon with a pleco). The beta fish were all clamped and faded, cups filled with debris and half had a water level an inch below the fill line. Those fish should be getting twice daily water changes, instead they have been days without a change. Several were dying in front of me. I went and checked on the canary that has been there for over six months to see if he was affordable enough for me to take home (he is miserable, I feel awful for him) and he was puffed up and trembling, they had added a conure on the other half of the cage with a clear divider between them. The employee told me canaries are great to keep around as gas leak detectors.
