Beautiful scenery with many miles of roads for UTV's

Keep in mind this campsite is in the mountains and can have adverse weather (it snowed on us in June). Plan accordingly.

No shade. Uncomfortable. The leaches in the lake were horrible! I will never come back here. Not worth the drive there at all!

Great camp grounds! Lots of shade, little lake to boat in and some family friendly atv trails. Flushing toilets and water spikets through out . We always stay in HLoop and there is enough room for our truck and trailer, plus enough grass for tents. The entrance is a little hidden, and the back road takes 20 minutes but over all its worth it. Side note: You can't ride off road vehicles in the camp grounds, but they will let you park them by the entrance.

This is an awesome campground and the surrounding area is beautiful. The campsites are partially shaded and the reservoir is great for paddle boats. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because the camp host does not try to control the loud guest. There were campers partying up until 1:30 am each night. I don't mind people having a good time and being loud occasionally but it was crazy.

The lake is a good size for human powered boats, I've never seen a motorboat and you'll not see anyone water skiing so it's perfect for fishing and small boat schnanigans with kids/family/scouts.

Beautiful location that is remote and private. There are 3 loops of campgrounds. Each loop goes higher up the hillside so if you want to be close to the water you'll want to be in the lower loop. Since the campsites are on the hillside there are few places to find a very level campsite. You'll have to hunt a bit. There are campsites with horse corrals on the highest loop, and access to horse/hiking trails through a gate. Water is close by, and so are the well kept bathrooms, but no showers.

Finally, you can get to the reservoir overland from Heber on back roads that are passable by car or via Hwy 40.
